Two years ago when Paws for Miles rescue in Cincinnati reached out asking for help for a dog with a missing tongue we never thought adoption would be an option. He was so emotionally damaged…. It was devastating!

 

Courage had literally seen more horrors in his short life than many of us will see in a lifetime! He was the face of a fighting ring dog and bore the scars of his abuse. How do you fix that kind of damage? We didn’t think we could and resigned ourselves to the fact that Courage would live an amazing life as a forever Marleys Mutt. Little did we know Courage, with all the strength of a true survivor, had other plans.
