A dedicated group of Marleys Mutts therapy dogs and their handlers providing a positive and important service to the community by making a positive impact on all whose lives we touch!
Miracle Mutts
The Miracle Mutts program uses the powerful properties of the canine/human connection to bring about healing to many underserved members of our community. It is amazing what can be done when rescued dogs, rescue people.
HOW DO RESCUE DOGS RESCUE PEOPLE?
To be deemed a therapy dog, dogs must meet and pass every item presented in the Miracle Mutts T.E.S.T as well as earn the AKC Therapy Dog Certificate. After training and earning a certificate, consistent training is necessary to keep participants on their best behavior. Miracle Mutts Therapy Dogs demonstrate what unconditional love feels like by serving the following:
