Rosie

Sex: Female

Breed: Husky/Pitbull x

Estimated Birthdate: 6/12/2018

It’s tough when a dog just lingers in our care. It’s tough giving them every opportunity to be seen and still there’s no adoption interest. We’re not talking about a behavioral dog or a dog with serious medical complications. We’re talking about a happy fun goofy dog who should have found her family a long time ago! Who doesn’t love a happy go lucky dog? We know we do!

Rosie has been in our care for almost a year and a half. She came to us with tiny babies. She was a good mama and her babies were all adopted. Still Rosie waits. She’s been through our Pawsitive Change Prison program to gain some obedience skills. She excelled but still no adopter. Rosie has an amazing fun loving personality. She’s dog friendly and she’s always happy no matter what life has thrown her way. So why hasn’t someone snapped her up?

This girl is a JOY and literally lights up a room! If you’re a human she loves you. Doesn’t matter if you’re little or large, young or old she’s guaranteed to be your new best friend. She’s all about squeezing every once of affection from every human she meets. And dog friendly? That would be a yes! She does well with medium and large breed dogs and loves to play.

We won’t give up. Rosie deserves a home of her own. She wants the love of a family so bad. Maybe the right person will see her bright face and give a good girl who’s waited a really long time the chance she so deserves. Pretty much there’s not much to not love about Rosie and she’s more than ready to find her people. If you’re looking for a super affection pup look no further and make Rosie part of your family. Rosie will be forever grateful.

  • Each adoptable pet will be introduced on Facebook

  • Each pet will have its own profile here on the website

  • All pets will be spayed or neutered

  • All pets will be micro-chipped and shots will be up-to-date

  • Each pet has their own application to complete—make sure you use the right one (linked from their bio)

It’s important to us that each pet goes not just to a great home but to the “right” home. Our foster parents work with each pet to get to know them and their needs.

We try hard to list all of the pertinent info about each pet on the site so you can choose the pet that will fit with your family/lifestyle. If you don’t see a specific pet on the site, he/she is not ready for adoption. Please be patient and wait until the bio is listed. We don’t decide on a “first come, first served” basis but rather on a “who’s the very best fit.” So, don’t panic.

It’s not a quick process. We receive dozens of applications for each pet so please be patient. If you’re shortlisted you’ll be contacted as soon as possible.

If selected to meet one of our pets and you currently have pets, you’ll be asked to do an in-person pet intro; we don’t do the long-distance adoption thing. If you live out of town, plan a fun road trip to meet the pet in person.

Don’t be discouraged if your application is not selected. Remember, we get a lot of them! Trust us, the best fit for you is coming.

If you’re lucky and you do adopt a super amazing pet from Marley’s Mutts, don’t ever hesitate to reach out to us for training, medication, or behavior questions. We’re here for you, and your pet.
