Mutt Militia, meet Rose Candelaria, our Volunteer of the Quarter! Rose started volunteering with Marleys in January of 2018. Ever since then she has been volunteering in dog rescue in Kern county. Her favorite part of volunteering is seeing the impact it has on people’s lives. Some advice she’d give to someone considering volunteering is, “not to second guess it. There’s always something new going on and countless opportunities.”
While Rose doesn’t currently have any of her “own” dogs, she does live with a few dogs and cats; Emmett, Memphis, Poppi, Stevie, Philip, Mila, Leela, and Cali.
Rose has been working countless hours behind the scenes at the Ranch with everything from admin to maintenance.
