Want a lover not a fighter? Then you’re going to want to meet sweet, sweet Stormy. She’s everything we love about the breed and more! Such a doll she’s guaranteed to win you over with her adoring eyes and calm affectionate nature. She wants nothing more than to be your sun, moon and stars and she promises to give you all those same things in return. She might even give you her paw of acceptance. Her tail never stops wagging and she’s such a love that she has quickly become a ranch staff favorite. She’s so amazing it makes it very hard to understand how she was found.
A Good Samaritan picked Stormy up when he found her as a stray with the words “Fuck Off” written across her forehead. Yup someone saw so little value in this sweet soul they chose to devalue her even more. We’ll never understand how humans can be so cruel but we will forever be grateful that one kind human stopped and gave Stormy her chance. She needed that chance more than she will ever know.
Stormy will never have to live in an environment that thinks writing profanities on another living being is somehow ok. We can guarantee she will have a life that treats her with the respect all living beings deserve and showers her with the endless love she will give back in return. That’s all Stormy wants. Humans to love her and to give them all the love she can. What an amazing girl some lucky family will get to bring home. We can’t wait to find her that family.

Each adoptable pet will be introduced on Facebook
Each pet will have its own profile here on the website
All pets will be spayed or neutered
All pets will be micro-chipped and shots will be up-to-date
Each pet has their own application to complete—make sure you use the right one (linked from their bio)
It’s important to us that each pet goes not just to a great home but to the “right” home. Our foster parents work with each pet to get to know them and their needs.
We try hard to list all of the pertinent info about each pet on the site so you can choose the pet that will fit with your family/lifestyle. If you don’t see a specific pet on the site, he/she is not ready for adoption. Please be patient and wait until the bio is listed. We don’t decide on a “first come, first served” basis but rather on a “who’s the very best fit.” So, don’t panic.
It’s not a quick process. We receive dozens of applications for each pet so please be patient. If you’re shortlisted you’ll be contacted as soon as possible.
If selected to meet one of our pets and you currently have pets, you’ll be asked to do an in-person pet intro; we don’t do the long-distance adoption thing. If you live out of town, plan a fun road trip to meet the pet in person.
Don’t be discouraged if your application is not selected. Remember, we get a lot of them! Trust us, the best fit for you is coming.
